Seat belt pre-tensioner and load limiter

These take up any slack between you and your seat belt, and operate milliseconds before the airbags are activated. They keep you and your passengers firmly in their seats, and in a position where the airbag will be most effective, reducing the risk of injury.

Airbags

We take your safety very seriously. So our comprehensive 6-airbag system, available on XLT, there are also full-size front and side curtain airbags for the driver and front passenger

Collapsible steering column

The steering column collapses into the dashboard, which can help minimise the potential risk of injury on impact.

Load rest

To ensure any load remains securely in the pick-up box, there are tie-down points and two pivoting guides mounted, for long objects, on the rear structure.

Increased visibility

The commanding, high seating position provides you with excellent visibility over traffic or hedgerows. Plus, large interior and exterior mirrors provide a better all-round view, especially important when negotiating a small lane with a large trailer.

4-wheel anti-lock braking system (4W-ABS)

4W-ABS is a combination of ABS and electronic brake-force distribution (EBD). So, whether you are laden with a palette of bricks, or just carrying a 5-iron, this advanced system provides safe, effective braking and steering stability when braking mid corner – and improves short distance stopping whatever the conditions.
